The Organic Salad Company was created in October 2004 between Eosta and Organic Farm Foods; the reason to create a partnership was to better service the commercial contracts with the extensive grower base Eosta manages.
The division traded as a joint venture until January 2007 when Eosta purchased the salad division from Organic Farm Foods and created a separate entity called The Organic Salad Company
The Organic Salad Company underwent a complete overhaul which involved moving the business to a central UK location and implementing complete traceability through a new computer system. The company you see today stands as the leading organic specialist under the company umbrella of the Rhea Holdings Group which owns Eosta. Our business has grown from two customers in 2004 to six retailers delivering a company turn over of £12 million for 2008.
The company continues to remain true to its roots as a solely organic focused business delivering a profitable business model from seed to fork for all involved.
You can imagine a business with over forty product lines requires dedication from a team who delivers an evolved category management approach to the business needs throughout the supply chain; importantly, understanding the end consumers needs as they are who we ultimately serve.
